FFmpeg method

Keep TikTok quality by rewrapping with FFmpeg.

Ok, this is a method for keeping quality on TikTok, but I'm not gonna use this method because it has an effect on the desktop TikTok website. Download FFmpeg to do this method — I'll send a link for the FFmpeg code + tutorial for installing FFmpeg.

FFmpeg codes

60 fps

ffmpeg -itsscale 2 -i input.mp4 -c:v copy -c:a copy output.mp4

120 fps

ffmpeg -itsscale 6 -i input.mp4 -c:v copy -c:a copy output.mp4

Steps

  1. Rename the video to input.
  2. Create a new folder and put your edit inside that new folder.
  3. Click the path bar of the folder, type cmd and press Enter. A command prompt window opens.
  4. Paste the FFmpeg code (from MEGA) into the command prompt and press Enter.
  5. The video will be saved as output. Done! Send it to TikTok — you'll see there is no quality loss.
